Corrections & Grievance Redressal Policy
This policy explains how Housing & Property Times ("HPT") corrects factual errors and handles reader and third-party grievances.
- Reporting an error. Anyone who believes an HPT report contains a factual error may write to editor@hptimes.news, identifying the article and the specific inaccuracy.
- Correction process. Genuine factual errors are corrected promptly upon verification. Where a correction materially changes the sense of a published report, this is noted transparently on the corrected item.
- Grievances and right of reply. A person, society, developer, authority or other party who considers that an HPT report has treated them unfairly, or who wishes to exercise a right of reply, may raise this in writing as above. This applies with particular care to content under HPT's Public Voice category, which may involve grievances or disputes concerning a named individual or entity.
- Grievance Officer. In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the Grievance Officer for HPT is:
Mr. Tausif Shaikh
Phone: +91 98194 25545
Email: grievance@hptimes.news - Response time. Grievances submitted to the Grievance Officer will be acknowledged and addressed within the timelines prescribed under applicable law.
